On the run

I am getting ready to do my last workout before the Race for the Roses Half-marathon in Portland this Sunday. I know I am getting down to the wire here, but I need some new tunes on my Ipod. Surprisingly, I've started feeling bored on my runs lately, which leads me to believe I am in need of some new music...and maybe a running partner. Any great cd suggestions?

Hope your Friday is fabulous!

p.s. thanks for all the advice in response to my last post. I've been contemplating it over and will write soon.

Here's to beating 2:10!

I'm not a music junkie. Ask Keri. She probably has some good tunes for running. If I hear anything on my ipod today I'll let you know. Good luck on your run!

Same here. Jared might have some songs he'd recommend. Give him a call.

I'll be thinking about you! Run your little heart out, girlie!

Cassie, I just got back from St. George today and am behind on my blog-reading, so I didn't read your new posts until today. How did the race go? I can't wait to hear the details. I'm actually making a whole new playlist this week for my race, so I'll have to send it to you when I'm done.

P.S. I hope you've found some answers and gotten some clarity to your questions about teaching/not teaching/freelance writing, etc. Life is such a balancing act, but I think the more you write it out and contemplate it the more inspiration you'll get.

Gosh, you are an inspiration! I am {thinking about} training to do a 5k. Just a little 5k and I'm breaking a sweat thinking of it!

You ladies are great. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll let you know what I downloaded...soon.

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
