She Turns Four & Banana Cupcakes

My sweet girl turns four today.
I can hardly believe it.
I find myself wanting to cradle her up
and rock her back into her tiny years.
Instead, she moves ever so quickly
from being a toddler to a little girl.

A gentle, kind, sweet, smart, sensitive,
helpful, funny, curious, did I say smart?
talented, sweet-spirited,
beautiful little girl.

And to celebrate,

she knew exactly what she wanted
to bring to her preschool class.
Banana

cupcakes

in Dora liners

with purple frosting

and lots of pink sprinkles.

Of course I agreed to her every wish.
Unfortunately, she only turns four once.

p.s. They are delightful.
If you're in the mood for banana cupcakes,
go here.
If you've never considered eating or making
banana cupcakes, then I understand.
I hadn't either.
But trust me when I say
you will not be disappointed.
At all.

Yum! They look delicious! Unfortunately I'm allergic to bananas but I'm pretty sure I could eat a whole bucket full of that icing!

Happy birthday to your little angel.

She is gorgeous, just like her mom. And I remember when you were pregnant with her...it seems like yesterday!

She is such a doll and so particular. Love that about her. And you are such an amazing Mom.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Brooklyn!

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
