summer sickness

The makings of today has included every anti-sickness remedy I could possibly think up.

an immunity-boosting chiropractic adjustment
double-shot of wheat grass
one pink grapefruit
water + 100% ascorbic acid
nasal spray
less work
some sun
a nap
and now a tall glass of Odwalla Pomagrand.

It is no fun being home sick while the sun pours over the scenery during this "real" first week of summer.

I can't wait to say good riddance and get back to enjoying the sunshine!

Hope you are enjoying yours!

p.s. This wonderful and dreamy collage reminded me that I could really use a vacation. You, too?

Hope you feel better soon! Great updates. I've been offline for over a week while we were in the Great White North (also known as Canada). I'm feeling summer slipping by as well, just because we've been so busy. I had this idea in my mind of a relaxing care-free summer, and instead it's been quite busy and hectic. But we're having fun and that's all that matters, right? And the sun is shining. And those morning runs are fabulous. I LOVE summer!

Great pictures Cass. Where do you usually get your photos? I am never sure if I'm allowed to use other peoples photos online, so often times I skip using them. If you need a vacation, I'd LOVE to have you come here and do that subway hike with us. But, maybe you're thinking something more exotic...anyways, I hope you feel better soon. Love ya sis!

Keri-I envy your morning runs...in fact, my back is better...I wonder if it is better enough for an early morning run tomorrow?

Ambs-I always search weheartit.com for good pictures. Every now and then I go to flickr. What I have seen on blogger is that if you link a credit for the image than you are good to go--unless it says copyrighted, then you wont want to snag that one. ;) I don't think there is enough time to travel south this year, but I can't wait for your visit! xoxo

Oh, Babe, I'm sorry you are sick; that's no fun at all, especially when you have so much to do! I hope it's not something that will run through the whole family. Oh, and I love the pictures of the kiddos in the previous post!

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
