The Little Things

Slipper socks.
The Jason Mraz station on Pandora.
Porch Swings.
Lemon Lavender Yankee candles.
Fresh basil.
My children singing worship music.
This Spinach Smoothie.  It's so good!
The aroma from the crock-pot.
Baristas and bankers who know your name,
and with that said--
My pearl of a small town resting on the border of a couple of beautiful cities.

In fact, there are some places around town that I'd love to show you!

aw, slipper socks! i need some of those. and i loved having baristas who knew me back in my old work neighborhood. there's something about someone saying your name and "have a great day" first thing in the morning.

THREE CHEERS FOR LIFES LITTLE BLESSINGS... and our small town has some wonderful gems to highlight. i look forward to seeing your posts, as i hope it will remind me of my childhood there. now that im moving back to raise my child, it will be a whole new perspective for me. im excited for the adventure...
ALSO, did you wrap the present with map? its beautiful. i have a deep obsession with maps of all sort. not sure that i could actually let a map go as wrapping paper, in fear it will be thrown away, but honestly, that picture was encouraging, and a bit inspiring. ill explain details next time we get to chit chat. till then, ill stop rambling. thanks again for your time with this blog. its sweet as you are..

Now that is some list! So funny about the smoothies! I have been having them too!!! :) YUM! & about your kids singing praises!!! that is my absolute fave! I just LOVE that too! I had the sweetest conversation with Bo today, he talked, I listened :) About loving Jesus & Him cleaning your heart so you don't have to go down to the Debil :) (Annie uses the hell fire & brimestone evangelizing techniques :) it is pretty funny :)

Love these "little things" posts you've been doing!

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
