My New Look

I hope you are well and cozy this evening!

Perhaps you're out doing fun Saturday night sorts of things, and if so, I wish I was there.

I've been in my pajamas the entire day, tending to a virus-stricken four year old and spending far too many hours in front of my computer screen.  Thankfully, by late afternoon, Brooklynn started feeling much better.  Poor girl.  She had a rough go for a while.  Here's to hoping the rest of us don't get what she had.

Although this was not what I had in mind for my weekend, I am happy for the hours that I was locked down to my home and able to bring to life my new layout!  It was quite the learning process with all the html coding to decipher, but I am pleased with where I am at.  If anyone has good pointers on how to do blog buttons, I would love some more ideas.
That was the trickiest part of all.

Without further adieu, I welcome you to the new {and still in progress}

A Serenade for Solitude.

See you Monday!
There are some fun things in store for next week!

I think you have a lovely layout and I love the buttons on the left hand side. I did a tutorial for one of those grab my button things if you fancy a look:

Sounds like we had the same weekends...only my baby is 6 :) Hope she's feeling better! Annie was up & at 'em again about noon today :)

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
