Heart Potatoes

In effort to bring Valentine's into our meal tonight,
this is what I've been working on.

heart-shaped red potatoes
Of course I'll save the "scraps," and cook them, too.
Separately.
Love in each bite.

I'm making some of Husband's favorites tonight.
I'll share them with you soon.

Are you making anything festive?

xo, Cassie

P.S. Don't forget to check out the new Giveaway!

Sooooo adorable! I wish I had some heart shaped cookie cutters lying around. We are meat and potato people, and this is a great way to bring in some festive fun to dinner.

Thanks, ladies!

Ambs--Yes, mam. I used the cutters yesterday and then it dawned on me today--I could use those for potatoes!

Shantel-Love the many things you can do with some heart cookie cutters! So festive.

Queen of Dreamz-you had me at fudge.brownies. Yum. Hope you are having a great Valentines!

Cass, I collect these tiny little cookie cutters in all different shapes....they are fun to use for the kids snacks. I cut out cheese shapes and layer them on pepperoni and crackers or use them for jello jigglers. They are a huge hit for class parties at school. I love the potato idea!

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
