My Summer Wish For You (+ Reunion Pics)

My wish for each of you this summer, is one week, disconnected from it all...
tucked away in a cabin, lake house, pop-up trailer or tent, with books, card games, a swimsuit and a good comfy chair--preferably one that carries like a backpack, so you can take it wherever your heart leads with hands-free for your camera.
Oh, and a boat is nice, too!
And meet your sisters and the rest of your family there, if you can.
They'll make the unplugged occasion, complete.
My sisters Amber, Tammy and I.
This is as about as crazy as I get on the water.
And I was too afraid to go over the wake!
Brooklynn's first attempt at knee boarding!
We took a beautiful walk through the Ross Cedars of the Kootenai National Forest.
Some say these trees rival the great sequoias of Northern California.
Some are 400+ years old, with a diameter measuring 8 feet!
My brother, Marc, standing in a hallowed out tree.

Love this family of mine.  I'm so blessed to have them in my life!

Beautiful tan ladies!

You seem so hard core with running, I would of thought you would be fearless with the tubing & wake boarding. I'm glad you had fun!

Great cousins pic! Kids are growing up so fast!

Loved being away from the normal electronic lifestyle with NO cell phone coverage, internet, etc.
Fun and relaxing. Time playing games and socializing and riding the wave runners were my favorite memories.

Hi Cassie! I spent two weeks disconnected while we were in Switzerland visiting my husband's family. It was divine. I felt so refreshed afterwards. That picture above in the forest with the mist over the water is SO GORGEOUS. I love it. Want to be there!!!! Hope you're all well....

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
