It is the book that peeked my desire for a natural childbirth; which tops the list of one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I continue to look forward to my next labor opportunity.

I am curious, Cassie, about your current religious views. You often write about them, but in very vague terms. I realize I was present during a very pivotal time in your life and am just curious where the road of religion has specifically led you. I ask due to a fascination that someone would leave the LDS church, yet remain a faithful Christian. In my experience, people often leave the church because they question the presence God and Jesus Christ in general, or because they simply want to live by their own rules. My intention is in no way to spawn religious arguments; I'd simply like to learn more of your experience. Understood if it is deeply personal and you would like to keep more private.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08016208227644250374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1158641041323479983.post-23928754996662852692010-06-17T12:41:28.630-07:002010-06-17T12:41:28.630-07:00You were the one who opened my eyes to Annie Dilla...You were the one who opened my eyes to Annie Dillard years ago which I am very thankful for... by the way I need to get you back a couple copies of her books that I borrowed from ya :) Great post!shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04103786827292615340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1158641041323479983.post-27124180053355906212010-06-17T11:59:59.270-07:002010-06-17T11:59:59.270-07:00Thanks for the book ideas, ladies!

It's been on my list for a long time, so thanks for the push to actually get going on it! I'm having a hard time coming up with one particular book...there are just so many! But since you mentioned the Bible, have you read The Robe? We just read it for book club and I have to say it was quite amazing. A real classic. It made me think about the story of Christ from an entirely different perspective than I ever have before. I think you might really enjoy it. Happy reading!!Kerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01905963980498932943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1158641041323479983.post-62048787611187722972010-06-16T18:11:53.349-07:002010-06-16T18:11:53.349-07:00It's added to my reading list and my amazon wi...It's added to my reading list and my amazon wish list :)resolute twighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17982313739448315233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1158641041323479983.post-47087909332874615462010-06-16T10:31:26.475-07:002010-06-16T10:31:26.475-07:00Hi Cass. I don't know if they "changed my life" persay, but I was very impressed with the strength of the female characters in the books, "A Tree Grows in Brooklynn" and "These is my Words". I was really amazed at the emotional, physical, mental strength those women had and hope I could be more like them (or would be in trying situations.) Thanks for making me think!Gigi's Thimblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02104714701161170769noreply@blogger.com
