An Intervention

About six months ago, I was in a rut.
A hair rut.
Having had long hair for most of my life,
the possibilities may seem endless to some,
but for me,
it was the same old thing.

Then, by a chance series of events,
I met a hair whisperer.
Then there was an intervention--

a serious intervention.

In fact, I have been so pleased with the results that I wrote
after my first intervention.
Yes, some things are news worthy.

And I keep going back for more,
because I can't get enough.

Here is the most recent transformation while under the scissors:

BEFORE

AFTER

Here is a shot taken the day of.

This one was taken almost a week later.

This one, too.

Bonnie wanted to rid of the picture with the stop sign and instead added my little girl. Because every girl wants their picture taken, right?!

If you need an intervention, and are in or around Vancouver, Washington, visit Salon Reifine! You'll be happy you did. That's a fact.

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
