Cupcakes and Crossfit
Today, was an interesting sort of day. i'd been having a rough 10+ days, and finally, today, with the help of some sunshine, I was off to the races.
the turn around included:
a brief morning sun-soak, out the side patio, upon waking.
a 3 mile run at the gym.
a banana chocolate cupcake*
bloggin' catch up.
talked to my sister.
talked to my brother.
my first Crossfit workout. what?! I did 175 full sit-ups tonight. 'nuff said.
*did you notice how I fit the cupcake between the workouts? who does that?
clean house.
no-hassle dinner.
an overall change in mood.
i told you it had been a rough 10+ days?
that is an understatement.
i'm glad to feel myself again.
hope you're off to a great week--

Hey Cassie, thanks for your post. Um, the cupcake between workouts may or may not have happened before on, say, a run you and I were going on. Sort of seeing a trend here...just sayin'.
:)
You are inspiring because you are so REAL and your readers love you for that. Also thanks for being there for me even in the midst of your own rough stretches. We can all get through together.
A cupcake between workouts make sense to me! I mean, really--2 workouts = a treat! Glad you're feeling better, Hon!
Marc- any person in their right mind, who happens to be in the Saint Cupcake region, knows that they should stop. Maybe I should join that club that I saw--We Run For Cupcakes...?
Thanks Connie. :) Feels good to feel better! x
I second mom's comment! You deserved it! And it was banana...so that technically was a fruit :)
Glad we could talk that day. I think that was me? I hope you're doing better. Sounds like you had a decent day. Good job on all your work outs and easy meals and such.
I like your doe friends too.
Just catching up on your blog. I don't read much these days...
I can't find out any info or a place to fix our no-reply blogger problem that is not really a -no-reply blogger problem. I'll keep checking around.
Peace.

Moments in the shadows seriously suck. It can be a lonely place. Glad to know that things are better. Reaching out is critical. HUGS!
