Giveaway Reminder!

Today, I am achy and stiff.
I attribute these aches to the heels I wore last night while celebrating our lovely friends' (soon-to-be-family-by-marriage) 20th wedding anniversary!  It was a lot of fun and such a HUGE occasion!

So, this afternoon, I write to you in my pajamas, with a heat pack behind my back, snuggled on top of my comfy bed, while my children leap to the two foot tall pile of pillows and blankets that Husband has positioned perfectly for them, in effort to reduce boredom.  It makes for feeling pretty old when you have to use a heat pack after a night out.  Oh, the things I endure to feel like a lady!

The heels:

Love them, and I must have got three or so compliments on them last night.
My friend, Shannon actually chose these as the bridesmaid shoes for her wedding last month.
(Pictures to come!)
Weren't they a great choice?

If you haven't already, go enter the Saint Cupcake Giveaway!

It ends tonight at 11:59pm!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Cassie, the heels are too cute. You're so lucky to be able to wear heels. I have not been able to since the car accident. I tired to last month but I could even make it out of the house with out my hip hurting.

As for the cupcakes. They look great. I'm going to have to go check that place out. Thanks for the share.

Ahhh, Cassie, that brought back a memory to me. I remember one time, when I was about your age--a little younger, actually. I had two kids, and Dad and I went to a church ball. I had such a mahvelous time (Dad, not so much). I remember we came home, and I was singing, "I could have danced all night" (from My Fair Lady, a great musical movie), and then I had to go soak my tired and sore feet in a hot bath. Nevertheless, I still had a great time!

I love how a simple post about wearing a cute pair of heels got such a great memory from your mom... gotta love the internet :)
Glad you got use out of them again!

“You must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.” ― Ray Bradbury
